Karen and I make a point of making to a game every year. Some quiet traditions, the ones you just do, that are the absolute best.


Dad and his Southside Girls. Often a family divided as to Cubs vs Sox, we have fully embraced all Chicago baseball has to offer!

Yep - that’s youngest daughter Blanche hawking soda in the upper decks.

Community Chapter: Historic Preservation and Nature Conservancy

1890 Log Cabin on Bluff of Ol’ St Joe. One of the oldest structures in Berrien County, just down from the original County courthouse at the juncture of Shaker Farm Rd and Bluff St. My Covid Sabbatical has been spent restoring and upgrading the interior, as well as constructing a series of terraces to hold up the Bluff. Louis and I have planted at least two dozen trees and shrubs and native wildflowers to save the Bluff by creating a Rain Garden.
